Our urn design is registered with the Swedish Patent and Registration Office (PRV). Design protection, known in Swedish as mönsterskydd, protects the appearance and form of the registered design.

What does this mean?

The registration gives the holder exclusive rights to use the protected design commercially in Sweden. It can be used to prevent others from making, selling or importing products that infringe those rights without permission.

What is protected?

The scope of protection depends on the images in the registration and the overall impression of the design. It concerns the appearance, rather than the product’s function or the underlying idea of an urn.
