Inside your RQVM urn
A thoughtful design, from the sealed inner liner to the space for personal memories.
A simple guide to the parts of your leather urn, how the ashes are enclosed and the details that make each piece personal.

The inner construction
The ashes are kept in a cylindrical paper liner inside the leather urn. The crematorium fills and seals this inner part. An inner lid separates it from the space above.
The leather outer body and top lid complete the urn’s appearance.

A place for personal memories
Above the inner lid there is room for a letter or small personal objects that you wish to accompany your loved one or pet on their onward journey.
This space is separate from the sealed ashes compartment.
How it works

Filled and sealed
The crematorium places the ashes in the paper inner cylinder and seals it. The ashes remain enclosed beneath the inner lid.
Add a remembrance
Place a letter or a small keepsake in the space above the inner lid, if you wish. Leave the sealed ashes compartment intact.
Close the outer lid
Replace the leather top lid. For burial, coordinate the arrangements with the funeral director and cemetery.
Lowering straps
Choose lowering straps when ordering if you need them for burial. The long straps support the urn from beneath its base. For burial, the funeral director or cemetery staff can help with the appropriate handling and lowering of the urn.
